Chemical Peel benefits
Before we jump into benefits…. what are your skin issues? Aging (I think most of us can agree on this one), acne scars, sun damage, acne breakouts, hyperpigmentation…. chemical peels are beneficial for a wide range of skin concerns and conditions like the one’s mentioned above and more.
Let me explain, as your old dull skin cells are peeled away by the chemical solution…the new skin cell process starts (collagen production). You will see a reduction in your skin issues (age spots, acne scarring, wrinkles or whatever your skin issue is) as you peel and have healthy new skin cells.

Chemical Peel Strength
Light chemical peel (or lunch time peel)-provides subtle improvements over time and is mostly done in series. A light chemical peel procedure works on the topical layer of skin and provides improvements on wrinkles, acneic skin, small imperfections and skin discoloration.
Medium chemical peel– Medium peels can be provided by Master Estheticians, Aestheticians or Estheticians (not a DIY peel). When the chemical solution is applied to the skin the exfoliating process begins. This will stimulate collagen production leaving you with smoother, brighter and overall healthier looking skin. A medium peel procedure works well on uneven skin, deeper pigmentation, scaring and fine to moderate wrinkles. You should expect some peeling and down time, that usually last a few days.
Deep chemical peels– Deep peels can only be provided by a medical doctor. It’s a one time procedure that will definitely require downtime. You will need to be on pretreatment for at least 8 weeks before your deep peel treatment.
